The two are among approximately 8,000 talented students from across the country who have won scholarships totaling nearly $35 million this year.

The corporate-sponsored awards range between $500 and $10,000 annually for up to four years of undergraduate study.  Langdon’s award is sponsored by the Mitre Corporation in support of her pursuit of a degree and career in international relations. Stoker-Spirt will receive the James E. Casey Scholarship, sponsored by the UPS Foundation.  He plans to study science/research.

The National Merit Scholarship Corporation will name more scholarship winners throughout the spring and early summer.
